THE LAND OF MANY WATERS
Guyana is the only English-speaking country in South America and is bordered by Brazil, Venezuela, Suriname, and the Atlantic Ocean. The deep rain forests of Guyana make it one of the only countries that offer raw, authentic adventure. Guyana is home to one of the largest gold mines and characterized by their cultural connection to the Caribbean region. Its capital, Georgetown, reflects the British colonization of Guyana.
